CTE Diploma Requirements

Being in High School is a life time changing experience. We go to High school as 4 year plan to prepare us for the real world. But also for college too, if you plan to extend your education and actually major in something you are really passionate about. Although in order to go out and find a job or even go to college, you'll need what it's called a "High School Diploma". This Diploma is the reason you work so hard for in your whole 4 years of HS in other to achieve it. However in order to obtain this diploma you'll have to have a good attendance, passed all your classes with a 65 or above, passed all the regents that you need in order to obtain the diploma, and have complete all of the 44 credits that you need in other to be able to graduate. The credits required are 8 credits for your English class, 8 credits in your social studies class, these being 1 Economics credit, 1 Participation in Government credit, and 4 history credits. You also need 6 math as well as in for science.
But this doesn't end here. There are many different types of diplomas. For example there is the basic High School Regents Diploma and there is the Advance Regent Diploma. For both you'll have to do the same of having good attendance, passing classes, and have overall 44 credits. But you'll have to take more regents exams, then what you actually need to have for the basic one, and pass them all with a 65 and above. Same things goes for achieving a CTE HS REGENTS DIPLOMA. However having that type of diploma benefits you a lot because you get to earn college credits, earn a internship, go to hackatons, and meet companies like Google and Facebook. Although you'll have to and obtain 54 units of work based learning experience. Do 30 hours of community service, pass the Industry Exam Certification and pass the CTE course, it's totally worth it cause you'll benefit a lot form it.
